Join us for our 14th Art showcase
Assemblage art, painting, music, live performances, open mic, rich discussion, food, gallery walk, and cash prizes.
Focal point: Sharpening community ties and creating a space for art to be used and viewed as a form of storytelling, therapy, and healing. Uncover the “You” buried amidst regret, trauma, harm, and things left unsaid.
Theme: Still Worthy
|Reclaiming What’s been overlooked, finding beauty in what’s broken, and reminding ourselves and each other that we still matter|
Performer Logistics and Communications:
Each performer will receive a $40 cash prize for their participation
Performances must be relevant to the theme of Still Worthy
Each act should not exceed 15 minutes
All performers will be featured on our website and Instagram
All performers should arrive 20 minutes before the 5:30 pm start time
All Performers will have a designated backstage-like area to relax and prepare 10 minutes before the performance.
We will provide basic technical equipment(e.g., microphones, speakers, etc), but please let us know if you have any specific requirements in the form.
If you need to bring your own equipment, make sure to communicate this beforehand
This, as are all of our showcases, is meant to be an engaging, inclusive, safe, and immersive cultural experience for the audience
We welcome a wide range of performaces(e.g., music, dance, theater, spoken word, comedy, visual art, etc)that reflect the theme of cultural revolution.
Safety is a priority for both performers and the community, so please follow any venue safety protocols.
